I, who dwell in the secret place of the Most High shall rest under the shadow of the Almighty

I will say of You Lord, “You are my refuge and my fortress; my God in whom I trust.”

Surely, you will deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.

You will cover me with Your feathers, and under Your wings will I take refuge; Your truth shall be my shield and buckler.

I will not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor the arrow that flies by day,

Nor the pestilence that walks in the darkness, nor the destruction that lasts waste at noonday.

A thousand may fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand; but it shall not come near me.

I will only observe with my eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.

Because I have made the Lord, the Most High, my refuge, my dwelling place, then no evil shall befall me, nor any plague come near my home

For You have given your angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways.

They will take me up in their hands so that I may not even dash my foot against a stone.

I will tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent will be trampled under my feet.

Because I have set my love upon You, You will deliver me. You will set me on high, because I know Your name.

I will call upon You and You will answer me; You will be with me in trouble. You will deliver me and honor me.

With long life will You satisfy me and show me Your salvation.
